Sustainability Applied 2012 is a unique two-day event organized by the Bloom Centre for Sustainability (BLOOM). It will feature hands-on workshops and interactive discussions to explore best practices and market opportunities, showcase new products and services, and celebrate outstanding accomplishments in sustainability.
Leaders, decision-makers and doers from across Canada and around the world, will gather in Toronto to discover how existing sustainability solutions can be applied to improve resource productivity and drive positive, lasting results.
The event is grounded in practicality and will give participants the insights and tools to understand the value and to integrate sustainable business practices in their organizations. It aims to expand and build on the success of the inaugural "Sustainability Applied 2011", which took place in Windsor, Ontario last June. Participants from the private and public sectors collaborated to frame sustainability issues and discuss opportunities to apply and implement solutions to minimize business risks, improve resource efficiencies and enhance competitiveness.
